Big fan of this series! I’ve never watched Dawson creek but I love Friends!! I’m adding it to my “to watch list”!

Love the idea of this serie. And omg I couldn't agree more with your analysis on the bean stuff and overall use of "peasant's food" like it's a premium commodity. It really pisses me off. Fuck capitalism. Have a nice weekend, nice to you have/read you back x

Thank you, Claire :) I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one, most of replies have been "but it tastes better!"

I wrote about procrastination recently. I know this looks like shameless self promotion but it’s not 😄https://open.substack.com/pub/grahamlandi/p/how-to-procrastinate-effectively?r=b0l6s&utm_medium=ios

I'll have to check out Dawsons Creek. I'm currently rewatching Friends. Can't believe it ended 20 years ago, when I watched it the first time around! And so sad that Matthew Perry is no longer with us

One "productivity" comment I read once stuck with me. "All projects take a long time... before you start". Somehow that thought has always motivated me to "just do it". Sure enough, once you start, the task immediately becomes more doable.

It's funny because as soon as I start something, it's never as bad as I made it out to be in my mind... but then I do wonder if all that pre-stressing is just part of the process. Hard to know!

I always procrastinate and feel bad about it for far longer than it would take to do the actual thing. Knowing this, the only way I've found to get out of this rut is to allow myself to fail miserably at doing the first draft of shittiest version of the tiniest bit. Still more effective than 99% of productivity advice.
