The part about keeping your phone away is indeed very helpful but it's still not enough. What I've been doing for the past couple of days that, I either delete or hide the apps that is acting like a barrier between me and my ambition. For example, yesterday I deleted insta as soon as I made up my mind that I need to complete this many tasks today and I don't have time for distractions, but in between working I do feel like scrolling insta, so I set a goal more like a treat really, that after I'm Done with work I will spent 15 to 25 minutes in insta and that'll be my reward of the day, hope you find this helpful !! P.S. you can also set rewards like watching another episode of b99 or bbt, or maybe even read a book :)
As I am about to finally begin research on the biggest piece I have ever written, I will try to remind myself of the moving-house-analogy when feeling stuck.
