As someone who also struggles with this ceaseless search for productivity, I really enjoyed this piece, Anna. Also, it's necessary to be reminded that yearning for ultimate productivity is little more than a response to structural conditions that, as you put it, "reinforce[] the notion that our worth is measured by our output..." and encourage us to "view ourselves as machines, capable of endless productivity if we just detach from our humanity." Thanks for sharing this!
