Oooh you hit the nail and n the head with that last bit. We couldn’t see the read flags before but now as adults ourselves, it’s (at least for me) painful and very uncomfortable to watch! At least I didn’t flounce back home 😅
Haha, I loved this, Anna! But for what it's worth, from what I can tell from reading your book, I def don't think you are anything like Rory. Like you outlined, the thing that is so grating about her is her distinct lack of self-awareness. Anyway - thank you for normalising the 'Am I Rory?' moment/('rite of passage'?) which at least one of my friends and I have both experienced too.
